This website provides general information about owner-building and potential project-support services in Western Australia. It is not legal, financial, insurance, engineering, architectural, building-surveying or regulatory advice.
Verify requirements
Rules, fees, forms and authority guidance can change. You must verify current requirements with LGIRS, your local government or permit authority, appropriately qualified advisers and the professionals engaged for your project.
No service agreement from website use
An enquiry, discussion or website statement does not create a consultancy, supply or construction contract. Services are provided only under an accepted written scope defining roles, exclusions, fees, responsibilities and the handover point.
Owner-builder responsibility
Engaging advice, procurement support, suppliers or contractors does not by itself transfer the statutory responsibilities of an approved owner-builder. You remain responsible for understanding and meeting those obligations.
